Denise Montrose, DVM

Dr. Denise Montrose joined Barry Road Animal Hospital in the summer of 2018. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2007. For several years she practiced large and small animal medicine in Grand Junction, CO and Santa Fe, NM before arriving in Kansas City, MO.

She spends her free time with her boyfriend Justin, Blue Heeler Mesa, and 3 horses Will, Cole, & Perce. When she is away from work, she enjoys gardening, remodeling projects around the house, trail riding, and developing her Western Dressage Skills in the arena.

Dr. Montrose strives to work with owners to make the best decisions regarding the health and wellbeing of their pets. She also enjoys the medical, surgical and dental aspects of veterinary medicine.
